Yang lebih mudah dilakukan manusia adalah tidak menuliskan kebaikan Tuhan, tetapi menggantinya dengan menuliskan hal tentang diriku dan kebaikanku. Itu suatu godaan yang perlu dihindari. Memang kita dapat menuliskan prestasi, jabatan yang pernah kita sandang, kebesaran kita, atau menonjolkan segala jasa baik kita supaya diingat orang lain.
